WMS_Warehouse Management System

Thesi Evolution Sphere’s WMS or “Warehouse Management System” was designed and built to support companies in warehouse and logistics operations and organize the Supply Chain. The System is able to manage the entire process from Supply Chain Management, programmed for production, to warehouse movements, up to outbound Logistics, also managing the position of the goods in the warehouse through Barcodes. The modules that compose it are wireless and traceability takes place through Barcode readers that read the GS1 labels.

The goal is to optimize the working methods by bringing efficiency through the use of high-tech tools

 The system is useful for planning and organizing all warehouse operations and facilitates operators in carrying out internal and external movements of the warehouse (Inbound Logistics and Outbound Logistics) and in the storage of materials.

The product is addressed to companies working in advanced production environments or dealing exclusively with management and warehouse and logistics for third parties, for this purpose it interfaces with the most popular international ERPs.

The WMS by Thesi EvS was designed and built on the Industry 4.0 model and offers companies that will adopt it  all the advantages of process automation and centralization of information promoted by the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

¤ Companies have become robotized with the automation of Warehouses and Logistics, which require performance and agility of movement within limited spaces;
¤ Continuous and complex operations need to be monitored and managed by Intelligent Systems;
¤ The efficiency of the System is guaranteed by the integration of the WMS with the Management ERP;
¤ Remote access to the warehouse via mobile devices;
¤ Companies monitor the stock assortment in real time (readings by operators are carried out through SSCC and Personalized Barcodes);
¤ Companies can track and trace batches and locations in real time;
¤ Workers feel safe and facilitated in their work;
¤ Work organized “intelligently” increases productivity and reduces costs.
¤ The use of intelligent systems promotes an increase in efficiency, reduces the time of operations and improves working conditions;
¤ Operators obtain considerable time savings not only in the handling of goods but also in the inventory of items whose reading is immediate;
¤ Increase in labor productivity;
¤ Reduction of errors or disservices to the customer;
¤ Significant reduction in business costs;
¤ The Tags (labels) allow an immediate and traceable inventory with the position.
The WMS allows the planning and management of goods receipt through integration with the module dedicated to the Logistics service.

Through the WMS, it is possible to manage the Supply Chain of goods in the warehouse and track the batches for the identification of the lots, whether they are raw materials, consignment goods or finished products.
The planning of warehouse purchases by operators is facilitated by the possibility of extrapolating and/or printing the “Warehouse Mapping“, as well as the ability to view and/or print the entire history of all movements warehouse, both incoming and outgoing.

The system allows you to monitor warehouse stocks in real time.

This function takes into account the consumption actually made, the production needs and the RDA sent to suppliers.

The purchase and sales history allows you to efficiently monitor the active and passive cycle.
This function addresses to companies working in the production field as it allows you to check, during the production planning phase:
  1. how many goods are in the warehouse and are “available“;
  2. how many goods are in the warehouse but taken in previously planned production cycles;
  3. how many goods of those not available have already been ordered from the supplier and are “on the way” according to the “expected delivery date“.
The System integrates the GS1 Labeling STANDARDS (“STILL” or “Standard International Logistics Label”) for the Logistics unit.

The traceability relating to the Inbound Logistics and Outbound Logistics process is managed with the same serial numbers.

The GS1 SSCC INTERNATIONAL CODING STANDARDS allow the product to be tracked within the company (whether they are “in production”, in the warehouse or “in preparation for shipment”) on one or more warehouses and/or on the entire supply chain (or along the Supply Chain).

The GS1 SSCC code is the useful tool for tracing information with optical readers (scanners) or RiFID labels which, however, are a more expensive option.

The identification and positioning of the goods in the warehouse is identified with the unique serial number GS1 SSCC or in the case of companies that work in the field of production, with the SIPs or “unique identification cards”.
The System allows to integrate external sub-suppliers into the production cycle, to plan activities and management of external production warehouses and integrates the management of Supply Chain Management with a rapid integration of all companies linked to the supply chain. The System produces documents in EDI interchange format in order to allow efficient management of the supply chain or Supply Chain. The SCM module allows to integrate in the subcontractor-external cycle, the control of stocks and of the available semi-finished product, loading documents and returns from subcontracting, control and direct management of external processing. The direct control and management of external processing provides information in real time and allows you to better plan and manage both internal and external processing cycles. A further increase of functionality for the interface EDI ODETTE (Electronic Data Interchange) STANDARD UN/EDIFACT for the electronic transmission of documents, allows to insert our Management System in the proposals for companies in the sector of European manufacturing activities for the Automotive.
The System manages the traceability service known as “Track & Trace” for companies working in Integrated Logistics and/or in the Transport sector, which allows you to remotely monitor your goods in real time. on transport vehicles and in the warehouse of the logistics service providers.

The new wireless functions allow you to operate with the warehouse module from any moving vehicle inside or outside it.
The system allows you to carry out the mapping of the warehouse with labels and bar-codes of the locations. In addition, it is possible to carry out the operations of selection, classification and categorization of items (also by catalog) with the use of classic codes such as EAN 13, COD 39 and QRCode and integrates the GS1 SSCC international labeling code.
The identification of the positioning of the goods is facilitated by the use of the unique serial GS1 SSCC.

The positioning or picking operation by the operators is facilitated by the passage of information, in real time, from the System to the Robot (or forklift, whether guided by the operator or laser guided) and vice versa, from the Robot/Forklift to the System.
The inventory can be carried out by location or by real-time location for companies that also deal with production.

The inventory carried out when hot does not hinder, on the contrary, it facilitates the normal production activity.
The System provides the packing list or “bill of parts contained within a package”.

The opportunity to use the Packing List provided directly by the System is especially useful for exporting companies that work both with EU countries and with non-EU  countries wich, however, there is a legal obligation to attach this document. to Invoices.
The System comes with Statistical Functions capable of monitoring and managing the progress and planning of stocks and the reordering of stocks for companies that deal with production and functions capable of making estimates on sales statistics.
The Logistics module integrated with the warehouse, for companies that manage the Logistics service internally as well as the warehouse and production, allows you to manage all internal and external warehouse movements, loading docks/piers, vehicle type loading, shipment management and traceability through the identification of the single shipment. The warehouse worker, selects the shipment to be made, prints the loading list, prints the identification labels of the pallet and confirms, for each order, the loading through the Management System. The preparation of the shipment is facilitated by the installation on the System of a LISTENER MODULE through which the operator loads the goods identified by the GS1 SSCC code, prepares the shipment on the indication of the data provided by the system in order of date of shipment / bay-dock, shipment sequence. When there are no more orders to be prepared for that same shipment, the Software updates the ok (identified with a green code) to inform the logistics office that it is possible to print the delivery note and close the shipment. At this point the loading documents are issued and the shipment is historicized. The system allows comprehensive and customized maintenance for each single shipment generated and offers the possibility of accessing theclosed shipmentshistory.

The advanced warehouse and logistics management system can be integrated with all the modules that make up the ERP, according to the needs of each customer.
